Card list is a table for listing TCG cards featuring a Pokémon species. The table is split into four templates starting with {{Card list/header}}. The number of {{Card list/card}} used will be the number of card pages featuring the species, with at least one {{Card list/release}} for each /card. A |} must be used at the end of the last template.

How to use

Header

The header template only has four inputs. The first is the name of the Pokémon species. The second is the most common TCG type of the cards. The third is the second most common type, if applicable. The final input, "nocat=yes", is only used if the table is on a page that isn't titled "[Species] (TCG)".

Card

This template will be used for each card page that features the species, with /release and possibly /divider used between them.

Parameter Input When to use
cardname Link to the card page, with images if applicable (ex. {{TCG ID|Jungle|Pikachu|60}} or [[Pikachu-EX (XY Promo 84)|Pikachu]]{{EX}}) Always
type First TCG type of the card Always
type2 Second TCG type of the card Only when the card has two types
newmark Most recent regulation mark of the card When the card has a regulation mark
marks All regulation marks of the card (ex. "A, B" or "A-F") When the card has has more than one regulation mark
color Only use "FFF" Only when the card isn't legal in any tournament format, including when a new card has not yet entered rotation
rows Number of /release uses immediately after the /card template Always

This template automatically assigns colors to tournament legal cards based on regulation marks. The template should be edited to add new marks/remove old marks at the beginning of new Standard format rotations each year.

Release

This template will be used for every different print of a card. These prints are indicated on the card page's infobox. A line break can be used between /release and the next /card or /divider to help legibility.

Parameter Input When to use
type First TCG type of the card Always
enset English/other European language set/deck of the print Only when the print has an English/other European language release
ensetlink English/other European language set/deck's page title Only when enset isn't the title of the set/deck's page
ensymbol File name of enset's set symbol, "None" when no set symbol Only when the set symbol's file name isn't "SetSymbol[enset].png"
enrarity Rarity of the English/other European language print Only when the English/other European language print has a rarity
ennum Card number of the English/other European language print Only when the English/other European language print has a card number
jpset Japanese set/deck of the print Only when the print has a Japanese release
jpsetlink Japanese set/deck's page title Only when jpset isn't the title of the set/deck's page
jpsymbol File name of jpset's set symbol, "None" when no set symbol Only when the set symbol's file name isn't "SetSymbol[jpset].png"
jprarity Rarity of the Japanese print Only when the Japanese print has a rarity
jpnum Card number of the Japanese print Only when the Japanese print has a card number

Divider

This template is used to differentiate groups of cards that legally have different names, such as Pokémon V or Owner's Pokémon. There are four inputs, the first being the display name of the card. For cards that use images in their names (ex. PikachuEX), the image should be used. The second input is the most common TCG type of the cards. Typically, the third input is the second most common type, if applicable. In some cases, the third most common type or the type of the cards specifically in the group may be used. The final input is only used when the first input has an image. When there is, "name=[name in regular text]" is used (ex. name=Pikachu-EX).
