Shining Mew (Japanese: ひかるミュウ Shining Mew) is a Psychic-type Basic Pokémon card. It is one of the Unnumbered Promotional cards.

Look at the top 3 cards from your deck. Choose 1 card from those cards, show it to your opponent, then put it into your hand. Shuffle the rest into your deck.

Discard 1 Energy card attached to Shining Mew in order to flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Confused. If tails, the Defending Pokémon is now Asleep. If you can't discard Energy cards, this attack does nothing (not even damage).

In Japan, this card was available as an Unnumbered Promotional card on an insert in the May 2001 issue of CoroCoro Comic, released on April 15, 2001.
Trivia
- This card features the Darkness, and to Light... symbol, indicating that it is a promotional addition to the Japanese expansion. It is Cosmos Holofoil, unlike the Shining Pokémon included in the expansion, which have an embossed foil treatment.
- The text on the bottom of the card border reads: "CoroCoro Comic May issue bonus card."
Origin
This card features the Shiny version of Mew. Mystic Fire is an Accessory that can be obtained from the Massage Girl in the Pokémon games. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Gold.
