Effect
Shadow Chill is the Shadow version of Ice Beam (albeit somewhat weaker), and has a small chance of freezing the target. This move is Shadow Articuno's signature move in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness.
As Shadow Pokémon cannot be traded, and since Pokémon Contests do not exist in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, Shadow Chill cannot be used in Contests.
