Release information

This card was originally released in the Fossil expansion with artwork by Kagemaru Himeno. It was later reprinted with new artwork by the same artist as a promotional card available through the Pokémon League in September 2000. The Japanese version was available as an insert with the second volume of the manga series How I Became a Pokémon Card, released in September 1999.

The promotional version of the card is commonly known as ? Psyduck, in reference to the character illustration. The Japanese promotional version also has an open book symbol in place of an expansion symbol.

Origin

Fury Swipes is a move in the Pokémon games that Psyduck is able to learn. This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, though it is slightly reworded. The Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
