Content

On the cover is the same image as the game's box art. The book contains four sections: "Getting Started," "Story Mode," "Post Game," and "Pokémon Browser."

Getting Started

This section includes an introduction to the game's premise, a map of the Fiore region, a list of the main characters including allies and villains, a review of stylus controls, and game mechanics such as capture using the capture styler, Poké assists, and field moves.

Story Mode

This section includes a walkthrough of the game. The first five pages include a quick walkthrough detailing a quick, comprehensive run through of the game. The rest of this section details each mission in the game. Details include a step-by-step walkthrough of each mission, a list of each Pokémon available for capture during the mission and what environments they're in, and a map of the location.

Post Game

This section includes information and a walkthrough of the post-game, or special missions, and the Ranger Net missions. Like the previous section, this section includes a walkthrough of each mission. However, this section also includes locations and instructions on how to activate the special mission. This section also includes information on challenges and the Pokémon obtainable within them, the Arena Challenge, and new areas and Pokémon that were previously unobtainable.

Pokémon Browser

This section provides a complete listing of every Pokémon obtainable within the game. The book details each Pokémon's type, field move, Poké assist, means of capture (including the required loops needed for capture, experience obtained for capturing, effective Poké assists, and escape rate), strength, and location.
