Trivia

  • The German-language print of this card had an error, suggesting the choice of one of the two actions (shuffling either Pokémon or Basic Energy cards into the deck), but not both. It was fixed through an erratum on March 12, 2020.

Origin

The Ordinary Rod is based on the Fishing Rod, a Key Item featured in the Pokémon games.
