Games

Slot Machines

There are sixteen slot machines in the Game Corner, with four of them having people already seated at them.

Each spin of the machine takes 3 coins, which are inserted by pressing the X button. You can start spinning the reels either by hitting the Down Arrow on the D-Pad or by hitting the X button again. Press the Y button to stop the Left Reel, B to stop the Center Reel and A to stop the Right Reel.

Payouts

Bonus Round

As you play, occasionally a Pokéball will roll up on the Touch Screen. They make the reels "sticky" and almost guarentee a win. The type of win depends on the Pokéball:

Randomly, a Clefairy will pop out of the pokéball on the touch screen, you can get a Normal Clefairy, a Shiny Clefairy (Green Ears) or a Ditto Clefairy (Ditto face). There doesn't seem to be any difference between the three as far as number of uninterrupted Bonus Rounds. Once the Clefairy pops out, keep spinning and soon (usually within 10 spins) you will hit one of the 100 coin payout rolls.

At this point you will enter the Bonus round phase. It only costs 1 coin to spin the reels while in the Bonus round, after spinning the reels, watch the Clefairy on the touch screen and stop the reels in the order corresponding to the way it points (Press Y when it points left, B when it points up, and A when it points to the right). Everytime you do this correctly, you will line up 3 Replays for 15 coins each. Each Bonus Round has 15 spins, meaning you get 210 coins per bonus round if you don't mess up.

After 15 spins, the Clefairy with either stay for another Bonus round or it will pop back into its Pokéball and that will be the end of that Bonus Round. This seems to be random. If you get over 10 Bonus Rounds in a row, talk to the woman behind the counter who sells coins to get TM64 (Explosion).

Occasionally, the moon on the touch screen will glow red during a spin, according to an NPC in the game corner, getting a Replay when the moon is red "makes Clefairy tired." So, not following Clefairy's directions when the moon is red may help prolong your Bonus round.
