Artwork by takuyoa

takuyoa (Japanese: たくよあ) is an illustrator who has contributed artwork to the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Before illustrating in an official capacity, they were a participant in the Pokémon Card Game Illustration Grand Prix and 2nd Pokémon Card Game Illustration Grand Prix illustration contests. Their submission of Gardevoir was a semifinalist in the former contest, and their submission of Genesect won the 3D Excellence Award in the latter. The first official card they illustrated was Hoopa V, one of the SWSH Black Star Promos.

Despite becoming an official illustrator after winning the 3D Excellence Award, takuyoa uses both 2D and 3D styles among their illustrations.

Artwork

Thus far, takuyoa has illustrated 32 cards. A full list of their illustrations can be found here.
