Space-time distortion

The Space-Time Distortion (Japanese: 時空の歪み Space-Time Distortion) is a feature introduced in Generation VIII that allows the player to catch rare Pokémon that are otherwise unobtainable. They have only appeared in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Frequency of appearance

Once the player has beaten the first Noble Pokémon, Kleavor, the Space-Time Distortions will start to appear and spawn after waiting in an area for a certain amount of time without entering the menu, battling, or resting at a base camp. These distortions are more likely to spawn when the player reaches the end of the game's main story. The percentages of distortions spawning based on time are shown below:
