Template:Infobox town Six Island is a small town, much like Five Island, and is on a large island. However, unlike Five Island, Six Island is the only city or town in the history of Pokémon to not have a route it borders end at the entrance, instead having the Water Path exist as a route passing by the town.

Also like Five Island, and its counterpart, Seven Island, not much emphasis is put on the area within the town itself, instead the vast area near the island is the target of a trainer's true calling. This includes Ruin Valley, the Dotted Hole at the center of which holds the Sapphire deep below it.

The background music used in Six Island is the same as that of Violet City and Olivine City of Johto.
