Simon (Japanese: ラング Lang) is a character of the day in the Pokémon anime. He is voiced by 亀山助清 Sukekiyo Kameyama in Japanese.
He appeared in The PokéSpokesman with the ability to talk to Pokémon. Simon was suspected by Ash and Officer Jenny of being a fraud. However, they gradually discovered that he was telling the truth.
Simon's Japanese name, Lang, is a pun on the word "language". His English name may come from the children's game Simon Says.
