In battle

At the start of battle or at the end of a turn, if Minior's HP is above half, it will change into its Meteor Form. At the end of the turn, if its HP is below half, it will change back to its Core Form.

In Meteor Form, it has high Defense and Special Defense and cannot be afflicted by status conditions. In Core Form, it has high Attack, Special Attack, and Speed.

Shields Down cannot be transferred with Skill Swap, copied with Trace or Role Play, changed by Worry Seed or Simple Beam, or suppressed by Gastro Acid. Mold Breaker has no effect on Shields Down. If a Pokémon Transforms into Minior, Shields Down will not be copied.

Outside of battle

It is unknown if Shields Down has an effect outside of battle.
