The SecretPotion (Japanese: ひでんのくすり Secret Medicine) is a medicine in Pokémon Gold, Silver, Crystal, Diamond, and Pearl. In Generation II, the person in charge of Cianwood City's pharmacy gives it to the player to take back to Olivine City in order to cure Jasmine's Ampharos, Amphy. In Generation IV, Cynthia, who was somehow able to obtain it (according to its in-game description, it is indeed the same medicine from Cianwood), gives it to the player to cure the group of Psyduck blocking Route 210 in Sinnoh.

The English name of this item is a mistranslation. In the original Japanese versions, it is known as ひでんのくすり Secret Medicine. The flaw was finally noticeable in Generation IV due to its in-bag sprite being that of a small bag of pill-like objects, rather than a potion. The name, however, was kept, perhaps as a reference to the original Gold and Silver storyline, or as some would hope, in anticipation of a remake of Gold and Silver much like what happened to the original Red and Green.
