Rebecca (Japanese: マナミ Manami) is a character of the day who appeared in The Punchy Pokémon.
Rebecca tried to convince her father, Anthony, to come home, but he told her he wouldn't until he won the P1 Grand Prix. Brock sympathised with Rebecca's feelings, so he and Ash volunteered to help defeat Anthony in the tournament.
Using a stolen Hitmonlee, Team Rocket nearly defeated Anthony in the semi-finals. Rebecca, not wanting her father's Hitmonchan to get hurt, jumped into the ring. Anthony was forced to take evasive action and literally threw in the towel, giving up his P1 Grand Prix chances to protect his daughter. Anthony then decided to return home to his family, making Rebecca happy again.
