This round starts on the magnet train. Inside, [[Clair]] states that the [[Neo Team Rocket]] soldiers are controlled by another [[Gym Leader]], and goes after [[Blaine]] in revenge of [[Lance]]. As they battle, the other Gym Leaders leave to help battle Team Rocket in the other train cars. In one of them, [[Erika]] realizes that [[Misty]] has feelings for {{adv|Red}}, while Clair reveals to Blaine that Lance is her cousin. His father fell in love with a woman from [[Viridian City]], and they were banished from the Dragon Clan. It also explains why Lance has healing powers.

Surge leaves the triad to break all the rest of the soldier's masks, and departs for [[Indigo Plateau]].

This round starts on the Magnet Train. Inside, Clair states that the Neo Team Rocket soldiers are controlled by another Gym Leader, and goes after Blaine in revenge of Lance. As they battle, the other Gym Leaders leave to help battle Team Rocket in the other train cars.
