The Munch Belt is an item in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team. It is awarded to the player in return for giving a food item to the Munchlax that appears in Pokémon Square. The belt is a held item that raises the holder's Attack and Special Attack by 8 each, but causes the Pokémon's belly to empty more quickly.
After obtaining the belt, a message in the the Adventure Log will read, "Spotted Munchlax." However, the Munch Belt has little consequence and will not affect the outcome of the game if not obtained.
