MorpheusShipping (Japanese: サトアオ SatoAo) is the belief of a romantic relationship between Ash and Angie. This shipping is one-sided canon on Angie's part, since she developed a crush on Ash at the end of the Pokémon Summer Academy arc; meanwhile, Ash remains oblivious of her feelings. The name Morpheus comes from Morpheus, the Greek god of dreams, to represent their mutual feelings for their lessons (by sleeping through them).

She copied Ash's training strategy with her rented Monferno.

• Ghoul Daze!

Angie is one of the few people to pose with Ash in his "I got a [insert item/badge/Pokémon]!" tradition, when they claimed their medal at the top of the Summit Ruins.

• One Team, Two Team, Red Team, Blue Team!

Angie seems embarrassed and blushing a lot looking at Ash sometimes, showing she was really touched by his gestures.

In the same episode she looked sad when Ash said that he saved her because they are friends, showing she probably expected a "more than a friend" answer.

Angie retains these feelings and blushes when Ash compliments her.

•Angie's parents note how much she has talked about Ash, and says they can get married and take over the daycare.

Ash risked his life to save Angie from the ghost girl. Angie even told him at one point to save himself, but he refused and even said he'd never drop her.

• In some scenes, the two can be seen staring at each other, most notably the closing frame of Camping It Up!.
• Angie's parents knew about Ash as the boy which their daughter talked about many times. They even teased her and suggested that she can marry Ash and they could take care of the daycare center in the future.
