Member Card

The Member Card (Japanese: メンバーズカード Member's Card) is a key item available in Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. It is only obtainable through a Nintendo Event. The Member Card allows players to travel to Newmoon Island, where Darkrai can be obtained.

In the Member Card's description, it says that the last date marked on it was 50 years ago. And in the Member Card artwork is written "1958.12.1". exactly 50 years before its first distribution day.
