The Mayor of Trovitopolis is a character of the day in the Pokémon anime who appeared in The Mystery Menace.
While Ash and his friends were heading through Trovitopolis on the way to Trovita Island, they met up with the mayor. He was trying to rid the city of a monster that lived in the sewers. He was up for reelection, and if he could get rid of it, he would surely win the election.
However, Ash and the others found out that the monster was actually a large Bulbasaur that appeared to have been abandoned by its trainer. When they told the mayor this, he had them taken away.
