Master Hamm
Master Hamm is the owner of the Dojo Gym in Saffron City and is the father of Kyle. His English voice actor is Eric Stuart.
He forced Kyle to run the Dojo Gym since he claimed that he was too old to do it and Kyle refused to do so. So they challenged to a match. If Kyle won, he is free to do whatever he wants, including to run his noodle shop. Since he broke his back, Ash took over for him while May took over Kyle. When they battled, Team Rocket interrupted the match and captured Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan. So Terri used Hitmontop to battle them. Ash finished them off with Pikachu's Thunderbolt.
Now, Master Hamm understood why Kyle liked making noodles and so he decided to travel around making noodles.
