Malachi (Japanese: ワタリ Watari) is a character of the day in the Pokémon anime who appeared in Carrying On. He is voiced by くまいもとこ Motoko Kumai in Japanese and Tara Jayne in English.
He and his grandfather, Denjirō, have multiple Pidgey that act as carrier pigeons. The Pidgey were the target of a Team Rocket heist, literally being plucked from the sky.
His name means "messenger" in Hebrew. His Japanese name means "ferry".
