The Lakefronts of Sinnoh are the locations of Sinnoh's Legendary trio, the Lake trio. Professor Rowan sends each of the main characters to investigate the lakes, hoping to gain some light of the mysteries of evolution.
- Valor Lakefront, located between Route 213 and Route 222 is the home of Azelf. Team Galactic sent a bomb into the lake, which resulted in an Earthquake that was felt in Canalave City. Professor Rowan sends the player to investigate this lake.
- Acuity Lakefront, located between Route 217 and Snowpoint City is the home of Uxie. It is guarded by two Galactic Grunts until the player beets Candice, Snowpoint City's Gym Leader. Professor Rowan sends Pearl to investigate this lake.
- Verity Lakefront is located east of Route 201. Mesprit will initially sleep and later roams Sinnoh. In the beginning of the game, Pearl and the player search for a rare Pokémon here and meet Professor Rowan. When attacked by a flock of wild Starly, the Starter Pokémon is chosen and the first battle takes place. Professor Rowan sends his assistant to intestivigate this lake.
