Jessie (Japanese: ( ) Musashi) is one half of of the Team Rocket duo that follows around Ash Ketchum and friends in the Pokémon anime. Her English voice actor is Rachael Lillis and Megumi Hayashibara in Japan.

She has a long-standing bitter rivalry with Cassidy, another member of Team Rocket.

Before joining Team Rocket, Jessie aspired to be a Nurse, she failed at nurse school, and dropped out to join a bike gang in Sunny Town. Here she met James; they joined a Pokémon school called Pokémon Tech, and like the nurse school, she dropped out. Because of her past, Jessie was eventually driven to a darker path and joined Team Rocket with James.
