- Ash and Go see a mysterious Pokémon.
- Leon, the Galar League Champion, is introduced.
- Lance is revealed to have obtained a Dynamax Band.
- Leon defeats Lance in the Pokémon World Championship finals, becoming a World Champion.
- Ash decides to challenge Leon.
- Team Rocket is revealed to have obtained a Rotom Phone.
- Team Rocket tries and fail to catch a Drednaw and inadvertently causes it to Gigantamax and attack Wyndon Stadium.
