Glacia (Japanese: プリム Purimu, German: Frosina, French: Glacia, Italian: Frida, Spanish: Nivea) is the third member of the Hoenn Elite Four and specializes in Ice-type Pokémon.
Her English name is an obvious reference to "glacial". Her German name is similar to "frost"("cold"). Her French name is almost the same as "glace"("ice"). Her Italian name is quie similar to "freddo"("cold", "icy"). Her Spanish name literally means "snowy", "niveous", from the Spanish word "nieve"("snow").
In the Games
Glacia had trained in the region of Johto before journeying to Hoenn to become part of the third installment of the Elite Four. "Fiery passion in Ice cold." Glacia has a team consisting over five very powerful Ice-type Pokémon.
Her strategy is to rely on Items. She traveled south because she thought that Ice-types could be strengthened in harsh and warmer regions.
