An Engineer (Japanese: でんきやのオヤジ Old Electrician) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation I games. They are generally depicted as men with hardhats, toolbelts, and toolboxes.
They specialize in Template:Type2 Pokémon. There are three in the game, and are all in Vermilion City on Route 11.
