Synopsis

Ash, Misty and Brock come across a bridge during their travels. They want to walk on it but the officer says only the bike track is ready, not the actual road. Devastated, the group then attempts to get a bike but is unsuccessful. When they go to the Pokémon Center to think of a plan to get a bike, they find a worried Nurse Joy. She says she has to deliver medicine for injured Pokémon over the bridge but she cannot leave the center because she has Pokémon to attend to. Ash and Misty agree enthusiastically. As they ride joyfully across the bridge, James, Jessie and Meowth sail slowly below the bridge. Jessie makes plans. Just after Ash and his group finished their refreshments, a crazy group of wild bikers come. They try to escape but are surrounded. The leader of the gang, Chopper challenges Ash to a Pokémon battle. He sends out Golem and Ash sends out Bulbasaur. Golem easily defeats it with a single tackle. Charmander sets Golem on fire with a flamethrower and an ember. Golem tackles Charmander but ends up setting fire to 3 of the gang's members. Chopper withdraws his Golem but the Poké Ball is still hot from Charmander's attack. Next, Tyra the other leader of the bike gang sends out Cloyster. Misty wants to battle and sends out Starmie but Psyduck appears. Misty decides to give it a chance. Psyduck is clueless and the bike gang cracks up in laughter. Psyduck does tail whip and again, the bike gangs laughs at it. After a few rounds of this humiliation, Team Rocket arrives and says their motto. But it appears that TR are heroes in the bike gang's view. Just as TR and the bike gang attack Ash, Misty and Brock, the police arrive. Officer Jenny offers them a ride but she has a job to do. The weather gets ferocious and turns into a storm. Chopper and Tyra challenge TR to ride through them storm. In Sunny Town, Nurse Joy is worried that medicine isn't arriving to cure the injured Pokémon, a Shellder. Then, a ship passes by and the bridge lifts up but Ash is determined to save the sick Pokémon. Just as they were not going to make it, they see TR and bounce over their heads, sending TR into the water. As they pass the bike gang, they challenge Ash to a battle. Ash, of course, refuses and tells them he's delivering medicine for a sick Pokémon. The bike gang realises now why they are riding through the storm and joins them. Nurse Joy in Sunny Town is relieved when the bike gang and Ash arrive with the medicine. The bike gang's new heroes are Awesome Ash and Mighty Misty.
