The Dragon type is one of ten TCG elemental types. It is represented by the color gold.
The Dragon type covers Template:Type2 Pokémon found in the main series games. For example, Salamence, Rayquaza and Haxorus are all Dragon-types in the TCG.
The Dragon type was introduced in the Dragon Selection in January 2012, and will be featured in the Dragon Blast/Dragon Blade subsets in March 2012.
Currently, no moves require Dragon-type Energy to use, and there is no Dragon-type Basic Energy card. All current Dragon-type Pokémon cards require multiple basic energy types to use all of their moves.
