Daisy Oak (Japanese: ナナミ Nanami; French: Nina Chen; German: Sarah Eich; Italian: Margi Oak; Spanish: Dalia Oak) is the older sister of Gary/Blue, and the granddaughter of Professor Oak. She is known as May in the English version of the Electric Tale of Pikachu manga, and Satsuki in the Japanese.

In Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow, as well as in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, Daisy gives the player a Town Map if he or she visits her after receiving a starter Pokémon. Once per day, she gives a free grooming to one of the player's Pokémon in the Generation II games between 3 and 4 PM, and in FireRed and LeafGreen after the player first defeats the Elite Four.

Also in FireRed and LeafGreen, Daisy will tell a player how happy their Pokémon are. She's well-known for being adored by all kinds of Pokémon. Daisy enjoys tea every day, and buys hers from the Celadon Dept. Store. She's also a champion Pokémon Coordinator, having won the Spring Pokémon Contest.

She does not appear to exist in the anime.

In the Pokémon Special manga, Daisy works as Prof. Oak's research assistant and is in charge of the Kanto laboratory whenever Prof Oak goes to Johto. She owns a Chansey that her grandfather gave her.

Trivia

Coincidentally enough, the two different names she has in English are the same as Misty and Max's older sisters, Daisy and May.
