Pluto is a leading Team Galactic officer introduced in Pokémon Platinum. He works both as a commander and later becomes the leader of Team Galactic after the player defeats the Elite 4.

In the games

Pluto is first seen along with Mars at Valley Windworks during an attack. He does not have a speaking role during this time, though he can clearly be seen near Mars as a background character. Gradually through the course of gameplay the player discovers that Pluto is infact a commander, as well as discovering his actual name in the first place.

Pluto's role isn't as great until the Elite Four is defeated and the National Pokédex is obtained. After Cyrus retreats into the Torn World, Pluto took over Team Galactic and became the leader. He took Mars and Jupiter with him to the Battle Zone so he could retrieve the magma stone from inside Stark Mountain and capture Heatran. However once the player encounters him Mars and Jupiter quit because "things were more exciting when Cyrus was the leader." It is also at this time that the international police officer Handsome, who had been hunting down team Galactic for the whole game, arrests Pluto. He is not seen or heard from since.
