Ash’s Totodile

Totodile was the last of the Johto Starter Pok`emon to join Ash Ketchum’s party. In EP151 , it is introduced, but when Ash and Misty both try to use Lure Balls to capture it, the feisty Totodile jumps into the bushes, leaving both trainers to wonder who really captured it. Ash and Misty then have a Pok`emon battle to decide who can keep it; Ash wins and keeps the Totodile.

       A highly energetic Pok`emon, Totodile is always happy and loves nothing more than to go into a dance – sometimes even in the middle of battle! Nothing can dampen this Pok`emon’s spirits – it even laughed at Ditto’s impersonation of its Scary Face attack in EP174.

Totodile is also a romantic, having crushes on an Azumarill and a Quagsire in quick succession in EP153. Totodile was used fairly often during the Johto arc and currently resides at Professor Oak's ranch.
