AmourShipping(Japanese: サトセレ SatoSere) is the name of the pairing of Ash Ketchum and Serena in the Pokémon anime. The name AmourShipping comes from the word amour with in French means "love". The name was chosen because in the XY series, like the XY games, are set in the Kalos Region which is based on France. The pairing is becoming popular because Serena has met Ash in a summer camp in Pallet Town when they were young children and the recurring hints that Serena does in the anime, to the point that some of the fandom believes thsat AmourShipping is canon.

When Serena saw Ash on TV after rescuing Pikachu in the Lumiose Tower from a rampant Garchomp, Serena notice that this could be the same boy that she saw in their childhood. She also said to Rhyhorn that something exciting is going to happen
When Serena goes to Professor Sycamore laboratory, she saids before choosing her starter Pokémon who is the guy that she saw her on TV, and then Sycammore replies that the boy is Ash. Then, she was overjoyed to know that Ash is the boy that she saw in their childhood.
When she saw Ash, she is really happy to finally meet him while he is battling Viola. And she was sad when just after Ash lose the battle, she run away without meeting her.
In this episode she asked alone to Ash if she remember when they met in the summer camp in Pallet Town. Also, through the entire Gym battle she was cheering for Ash to win way more than Clemont and Bonnie did.

Ash's hints

When Ash has met Serena he seemed sad about not meeting her when she run before. After that, when Serena gave a toilet after the training with Alexa, she had a expression, that seems like Ash like her.
When Ash said that he doesn't remember meeting Serena before, she looks a little mad for not remembering it. Also, when Ash wins the Gym Battle Ash thanks to all of his friends to the help in defeating Viola, including Serena, even though she hasn't even directly take part in the training.
