The 2002-03 Modified format of the Pokémon Trading Card Game (now referred to as Standard format) was the first update to the Standard format used in Wizards of the Coast's DCI sanctioned tournaments, used between from August 3, 2002 to August 31, 2003. With the transfer of the Pokémon TCG license from Wizards to Nintendo, it would be the last iteration of the Standard format used in DCI organized play.

This format only allowed cards from the Neo Genesis set on up through Skyridge, rotating out Team Rocket, Gym Heroes, Gym Challenge. Sneasel, which was banned in the previous season, remained banned in this season. Slowking was also banned towards the end of 2002. This format was informally known as Neo-On or Neon.
