Ogre Oustin' (Japanese: 鬼退治フェス Demon Extermination Festival) is a special event that has been passed down as a tradition in Kitakami since long ago.[1]. Participants are tasked with exploring an area to collect Berries, while also defending their current stash of Berries from "greedy" wild Pokémon.

Overview

During this mini-game, players must ride on KoraidonS/MiraidonV, and pop Ogre Balloons to obtain Berries. These Berries must then be taken to the Berry Tables to score points. However, "greedy" wild Pokémon will attempt to take Berries from the Tables if they are left unattended, so players need to balance collecting more Berries and defending their current stash.

Rewards from this activity include mochi, which can be used to increase a Pokémon's base points. Fresh-Start Mochi, which resets a Pokémon's base points, is also available. It is also possible to obtain the Unremarkable Teacup

Multiplayer

Ogre Oustin' can be played with up to three other players, via online or local wireless connection. Players are encouraged to divide up tasks - for example, one player could focus on gathering far-off Berries, while another focuses on defending the already-collected Berries on the Berry Tables.
