(Japanese: くわし Kuwashi) is a character of the day who appeared in SM113.
Kuwashi and his Pikipek participated in the (Japanese: アローラポケモンクイズ Alola Pokémon Quiz) on television. In the preliminary round, he faced off against Sophocles and two other contestants. Kuwashi and Sophocles both answered multiple questions correctly, and in the end it came down to one last question. Kuwashi answered the question correctly before Sophocles and moved on to the final round.
In the final round, Kuwashi faced off against a girl and her Oricorio. The final question was "Which Pokémon's silhouette is this?". As Kuwashi answered with "Gyarados", a Gyarados actor called Koi-chan rampaged through the television studio. Despite this, Kuwashi's answer was correct, causing him to win the quiz. Sophocles, who was chasing Koi-chan, picked up on Kuwashi's win and congratulated him.

| Pikipek is Kuwashi's only known Pokémon. It participated with him in the (Japanese: アローラポケモンクイズ Alola Pokémon Quiz), in which Trainers call on their Pokémon to press the answering button when they know the answer to a question. Kuwashi and Pikipek won the preliminary round and later also won the final round.
