(Japanese: ネネ Nene) is the character of the day in XY050 and is also a Pokémon Performer who wants to compete in Pokémon Showcases.
Ash and company met Nene after Chespin and Pancham wondered into her practice area while fighting. Learning that Serena was also a Performer, she showed off her routine and picked up some tips from the group.
Since her Smoochum took a liking to Pancham, and that it was also good at performing with her, Nene offered to trade her Farfetch'd to Serena for it. Serena declined however. Shortly after Team Rocket showed up in disguise and tricked her into handing Smoochum and Farfetch'd over to them in addition to Fennekin, Pancham, and Chespin. Her Pokémon were eventually returned to her after Pancham and Chespin were able to settle their differences and defeated Team Rocket.
As the sun was setting, Nene left the group behind but not before wishing for Serena to do well in the upcoming Pokémon Showcases.

| Smoochum is one of two Pokémon Nene is known to have on hand. She performs with Farfetch'd and one of their routines is known as "Heartbreak". She was shown to have feelings for Serena's Pancham but her affection was not reciprocated. The two did perform well together, however. Jessie took interest in Smoochum, wanting to steal her so that she could perform with her. She would succeed for a short while but she and the other Pokémon were able to escape. Team Rocket kept on the Pokémon's trail and confronted them once more. Smoochum and Farfetch'd were both attacked by Inkay as was Serena's Fennekin leaving Pancham and Chespin to battle Team Rocket alone. They held them off long enough for Smoochum and Farfetch'd to be reunited with Nene.

| Farfetch'd is one of two Pokémon Nene is known to have on hand. It performs with Smoochum and one of their routines is known as "Heartbreak". Nene wanted to trade Farfetch'd to Serena for Pancham since it performed well with Smoochum. Hearing that it could possibly be traded left it feeling nervous until Serena politely declined much to its relief. It was later kidnapped by Team Rocket along with Smoochum and Serena's Pokémon, as well as Clemont's Chespin. Farfetch'd used its leek as a guide to find their way back to their Trainers after they had escaped. Farfetch'd and Smoochum were both attacked by Inkay as was Serena's Fennekin leaving Pancham and Chespin to battle Team Rocke alone. They held them off long enough for Farfetch'd and Smoochum to be reunited with Nene.
