April 1 2005 was an April Fool's Day that fell on a Friday. Pokémon-related hoaxes for this year included:

  • Bulbagarden forced all users to adopt a specified forums scheme for a day, parodying the scheme of Serebii.net forums.
  • Pokedex.jp changed its content to a Digimon theme.
  • (unconfirmed) Korechū (Japanese: これュウ and これちゆぅ, sic). [1]
  • Haruka Fanclub turned into an cruedly done Misty fan-site for the day.
