Max (AG049)
Max (Japanese: マサト Masato) is a character in the Pokémon anime. His name (both English and Japanese) and design is based on Max.
He started to comment how energetic a Skitty and that only skilled trainers can handle out. Max said that she already knew that. Nurse Joy said to Max to duke it out, making Max confused since she didn't know his name, but she then told that both names is Max.
Thw two the started to bicker again but Joy soon breaks it up, making Max to go down to the lake. Later, when May and Max where looking after a wild Surkit, Max approaches them and an another fight starts. Ash and Brock approaches them, making Max spitting another smart-alecky comment, making Max yelling at Max.
Brock then says they shall release their Pokémon, and May and Ash agrees. Max says he get to seem them everyday, and that his father is a Gym Leader, making Max impressed.
May shows of Skitty to Treecko and Pikachu. Soon thereafter, Team Rocket jumps from the bushes and surprises everyone. After their mecha explodes, leaving Team Rocket flying in the air, Max and Max becomes friend. He intends to train his new friend Surskit hard, and one day become a Pokémon trainer.
