And told Grace that she will getting herself a Pokemon from Professor Sycamore in Lumiose City. The scene shifts to Ash, who's currently in Lumiose City, follows Bonnie in order to register for the Kalos League at the Pokemon Center. While following, Ash thanks Clemont for helping out, while he said in return that he was impressed of how Ash fights so hard for the Pokemon, which gives him the courage, and understands why Froakie has chosen Ash. While Ash looks into Froakie's Pokeball in hand, Clemont secretly looks back at Prism Tower, thought that he have to do his best as well. At the Lumiose Pokemon Center, Ash completes his registration for the Kalos League and obtained a new badge case from Nurse Joy's Wigglytuff. Meanwhile, Team Rocket reports to Giovanni that they have arrived at the Kalos region, and swear to their boss that they will get strong and rare Pokemon as part of Team Rocket, while the boss pleased them for the hard work. After the conversation, Jessie, James, and Meowth gave each other a sinister smile, and celebrates for their starting their first conquest, while James askes where his croissant gone to, the Pokemon ate it from right under their table. Back at the Pokemon Center, Rotom's face appeared on-screen when Ash phoned to Professor Oak, whose still in Kanto, as Ash sends out Froakie for Professor Oak to know about it, while in the end, get shocked by Rotom. Outside, near the fountain, Clemont tells Ash that the first gym is at Santalune City, which can be arrived by going through Route 4. | Back to Serena, whose now leaving for her journey, is saying goodbye to Rhyhorn. When Grace asked what kind of Pokemon she chooses Serena said that it is secret, and starts going to Lumiose City to Professor Sycamore's lab. At Route 4, a Dedenne scurries up the tree branches, and tries hard to pull out a berry. Just then, both Pikachu and Froakie sense a presence, as Dedenne accidentally dropped the berry it was trying to get right on Pikachu's head. As their attention is at the berry, when Pikachu gets near, a spark coming from nowhere sent the berry flying, right at Bonnie's face, which she startled. As she picked up the berry, Dedenne came close to Bonnie from the grass, Pikachu approaches face-to-face, as Ash hasn't seen that Pokemon before, and Bonnie said it was so cute. Noticing the berry in her hand, Dedenne tries to draw near them, but Pikachu steps in front, and electricity starts flying from cheek to cheek. Bonnie concurs that it wasn't afraid, as Clemont says that they're both Electric types, so they communicate with electricity. Ash scans it with his Pokedex, while Bonnie wants to keep it, so she can have it as her partner when she began her journey as a Trainer. While Clemont thinks about it, Ash concludes that its okay as he will help out. Bonnie thanks Ash as Clemont decides to get it for her. But the happy moments were interrupted, as a Fletchling swoops in and steals the berry when Bonnie was giving it to Dedenne. As the Robin Pokemon landed on a branch, Bonnie became mad, and declaring that the berry it took belongs to Dedenne, but then Fletchling gulped the whole berry down. -->
