Hold Back (Japanese: てかげん Go Easy) is a damage-dealing move introduced in Generation VI. It was first revealed on the December 18, 2013 episode of Nintendo Direct. It cannot be learned through normal gameplay.

Effect

Similarly to False Swipe, Hold Back inflicts damage and will always leave the target with 1 HP remaining.
