A Mega Stone (Japanese: メガストーン Mega Stone) is a type of held item introduced in Pokémon X and Y. During battle, a Pokémon can activate its held Mega Stone in order to Mega Evolve if it is holding the correct Mega Stone and the player has the Mega Ring. Mega Stones only affect Pokémon during battles, and Pokémon will revert back to their basic form once the battle has ended. All Pokémon that can undergo Mega Evolution have an equivalent Mega Stone that is named after them.
The stone for Blaziken, the Blazikenite, cannot be found in regular gameplay and can only be obtained via special distributions.
