The Pokémon Wiki has six administrators:
In 2005, the wiki was created by Jellochuu. Sooner enough to the start of the wiki, unregistered users started to vandalize the Main Page and Jellochuu temporarily protected it. User142, one of the old sysops got promoted this year on June 29, 2005. After a while, Jellochuu started to become not very active on the Pokémon Wiki.

On July 29, 2006, a major vandal called Jimbo Waeles vandalized 99% of the pages on Pokémon Wiki by implenting his own template called Template:Mine. He impersonated Jimbo Wales, the creator of Wikipedia. Two days later, Mindspillage and some unregistered contributors reverted his edits and Mindspillage blocked him infinitely. On April 12-13 2006, a vandal called The Black Emperor vandalized many Pokémon Wiki pages by saying stuff like "who cares?". On April 17, 2006, Jellochuu and some unregistered contributors reverted his edits and Jellochuu blocked him/her infinitely. Jellochuu also left Pokémon Wiki this year and didn't make major edits or reverts again. Acfan1983 also got promoted this year on June 24, 2006 by Jellochuu. On July 9, 2006, sysop Ciencia Al Poder made his first edit.
