The Invincible Pokémon Brothers (Japanese: カンフー三兄弟 Three Kung fu Brothers), also called the Three Fighting Brothers are a trio of brothers that own Template:Type2 Pokémon. Their names are Kim (Japanese: ブルース・チャン Chan Bruce), Kai (Japanese: ブルース・シャン Shan Bruce), and Kail (Japanese: ブルース・リン Rin Bruce). Kim is the short one, Kai is the fat one and Kail is the tall one. Kim's Japanese voice actress is Makoto Tsumura and his English voice actor is Sean Schemmel. Kail's English voice actor is Marc Thompson.

Their first appearance was Gotta Catch ya Later!. While Misty was heading back to Cerulean City, the brothers challenged her, and Brock and Ash to a match, but Ash and co. won. It is later revealed that the three Fighting Brothers were acquainted with Jessie, James and Meowth of the sinister Team Rocket, but Team Rocket had broken a promise the Fighting Brothers made with them. Team Rocket promised they'd give the brothers some gold. The brothers were prompted to turn on Team Rocket after Team Rocket broke the promise. After Ash and co. got free from the net Team Rocket trapped them in, they sent Team Rocket and the Fighting Brothers blasting off.

They appear again in Cerulean Blues. In revenge, they planned to sabotage the PIA test Misty took, strip Misty's title of Gym Leader and take over the Cerulean Gym, using dirty tactics in their battle against Misty. They were defeated in the end by Misty's newly-acquired Gyarados.

Trivia

  • It's a safe assumption that their surnames in Japanese are a reference to Bruce Lee.
  • Similar to how Jackson's name was changed to Vincent, Kail and Kai's names were also changed for Pokémon Chronicles. Kail's name was changed to Kam, while Kai's name was changed to Khan. Kim's name was not changed.
