The Stellar type (Japanese: ステラタイプ Stellar type) is a type that exists only in Generation IX. Unlike other types, no Pokémon or moves bear it naturally, being exclusive to the Terastallized state of specific Pokémon.

Statistical averages

Battle properties

When a pokemon Terastallizes into the Stellar type, it gains STAB for every move type, but only once per type. After you use a move, no other moves of that same type will recieve STAB. In Tera Raid Battles, all moves will be boosted without limit.

When Tera Blast is this type, it has a special interaction, and inflicts damage with the user’s Attack or Sp. Atk stat— whichever is higher, and is super effective against Terastallized targets. This lowers the user’s Attack and Sp. Atk stats, however.

Pokémon

No Pokémon are naturally Stellar type, but they can become Stellar type through Terastallization.

Moves

No moves are naturally Stellar type, but Tera Blast can become Stellar type if the user Terastallizes into the Stellar type.
