Generation III
- On Route 123, the Berry Master's wife will give players this berry if the player tells her the phrase "Great Battle". This is the only rare berry that can be obtained prior to defeating the Elite Four.
Generation IV
- Can be rarely found in Amity Square while walking with a partner Pokémon.

Spelon berries grow in 3 days, 18 hours per stage. They will grow 1-2 berries.
