Release information
This card was reprinted in the Base Set 2 reprint set, which was only released outside of Japan. This card was also reprinted in the EX Ruby & Sapphire and EX FireRed & LeafGreen sets with different artwork by K. Hoshiba, and in EX Unseen Forces, EX Crystal Guardians, and Diamond & Pearl with another different artwork. The card has seen its fair share of tweaks since its introduction, first in EX Ruby & Sapphire to read as follows:
Flip a coin. If heads, search your deck for a Basic Pokémon or Evolution card, show it to your opponent and put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward. |
The comma after "opponent" returned for the EX Unseen Forces print, and "Basic Pokémon or Evolution card" was changed to "Pokémon" for the Diamond & Pearl print.
