Experience-affecting items are items that affect the amount of experience that a Pokémon gains in battle. There are three different experience-affecting items. They are, chronologically, EXP. All, EXP. Share, and Lucky Egg.

EXP. All

If the Pokémon holding the EXP. All gains experience from a battle, the experience is split equally between all of the player's Pokémon.

EXP. Share

The Pokémon gets half of the total experience gained from battling, and the rest of the experience is divided up normally.

Lucky Egg

In generation III - Pokemon holding the LuckyEgg gain double the normal amount of XP they would have earned at the end of a battle. Obtained in PokemonXD and may be transferred back to third Gen GBA games.

In Generation IV - Pokemon holding the LuckyEgg gain 150% of the normal amount of experience they would have earned at the end of a battle. May be found in Generation IV games as a rare HeldItem on Chansey.
