Pewter City (Japanese: ニビシティ Nivi City), known as A Stone Gray City, is located in northwest Kanto, situated between Viridian Forest and Mt. Moon.
Pokémon Trainers often come to Pewter City in order to win the Boulderbadge from Brock, the Pewter Gym Leader who specializes in Rock-type Pokémon.
A popular attraction is the Pewter Museum of Science and laboratory.
Two paths lead out of the city. South of Pewter is Route 2, and Viridian Forest. East is Route 3 and eventually Mt. Moon.
