Kotetsu's Riolu (Japanese: コテツリオル Kotetsu's Riolu) is the first Pokémon that Kotetsu showed to have that usually follows him around.

History

In BW104, Riolu battled Bianca's Emboar and, despite the notable size difference, was able to stand out well, eventually defeating the Mega Fire Pig Pokémon with a Vacuum Wave.

Personality and characteristics

Since its debut Riolu is shown to be annoyed to his Trainer forgetfulness. It is very happy and cheerful likewise of its species. Riolu can be somewhat rude when he entered in a hot spring, splashing hot water in Pikachu and Oshawott, getting into a fight with the former making it accidentally electrify the latter after getting into a fight.

Despite small Riolu is very good battler seen when he took down Emboar despite being at size disadvantage and it doesn't hesitate in following Kotetsu orders.
