The 2026 ex Starter Sets (Japanese: スターターセットex Starter Set ex) are a collection of three Standard Decks for the Japanese Mega Series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. They will be released in Japan on July 31, 2026.

Information

The 2026 ex Starter Sets comprise three variants, each one focusing on a Pokémon ex as follows:

  • ex Starter Set Eevee ex (Japanese: スターターセットex イーブイex Starter Set ex Eievui ex)
  • ex Starter Set Zorua & Zoroark ex (Japanese: スターターセットex ゾロア＆ゾロアークex Starter Set ex Zorua & Zoroark ex)
  • ex Starter Set Sprigatito & Meowscarada ex (Japanese: スターターセットex ニャオハ＆マスカーニャex Starter Set ex Nyahoja & Masquernya ex)

The decks also include a number of staple Trainer cards for competitive play, plus a Full Art illustration rare-style card of the highlight Pokémon in the set title. Each set comes packaged with a sheet of damage counters and 2 status markers, a player's guide, a coin, and a two-player playmat.
